Jimmie Johnson Let's start off by saying that shuffling Power Rankings after a Talladega race is nonsensical. That said, JJ once again showed why he and Chad Knaus are better than everyone else.
Jeff Gordon Funniest quote of the season: "I'm kind of glad we ran out [of fuel] when we did because we were at least able to get back out there and destroy our car."
Juan Pablo Montoya Wrecked
Mark Martin Wrecked
Tony Stewart Wrecked
Denny Hamlin Engine blew up
Kasey Kahne Drive of the day goes to Kahne, who started at the back because of an engine change and lost the draft on the very first lap, only to rally and finish second.
Kurt Busch Blew a tire, spun, fell two laps down, got back on the lead lap and drove his way toward the front in a torn-up race car, only to have Brad Keselowski dump him. What a day.
Ryan Newman Wrecked
Kyle Busch Give props to KyBusch for having the guts to say to Mike Helton after Helton acknowledged that he doesn't race at Talladega: "Maybe you should try it sometime."
Joey Logano Sliced Bread couldn't keep his car off the wall in February at Daytona. Sunday, he finished third at Talladega. That's called progress, folks.
Clint Bowyer And the winner of this week's musical chairs for the 12th spot is ... Clint Bowyer. Take a seat, Clint, but don't get too comfortable.
Lucky Dog:Jamie McMurray In case you didn't notice, Sunday's win was his first top five of the entire season.
DNF:Brad Keselowski Yes, he clicked off another top 10 at Talladega, but once again Jetski was on the delivery side of a multicar wreck. Guy isn't even a full-time Cup driver yet and already he's on many people's enemies list.
