QB questions linger as No. 14 ASU faces Huskies

QB questions linger as No. 14 ASU faces Huskies
TIM BOOTH (AP Sports Writer), Oct 24, 2014
When No. 14 Arizona State faces Washington on Saturday night, no one is fully certain how many quarterbacks will play. Arizona State coach Todd Graham and Washington coach Chris Petersen hope the number doesn't go any higher than that. The uncertainty at quarterback is mostly injury related, although the Sun Devils (5-1, 3-1 Pac-12) are far more proven at the position than the Huskies (5-2, 1-2). Arizona State's Taylor Kelly is expected to play for the first time since suffering a foot injury against Colorado on Sept. 13. ...More

Stanford Team Report Oct 21, 2014

Stanford coach David Shaw expressed his disappointment following a 26-10 loss to Arizona State, saying the Cardinal did not play well enough on offense, defense or special teams. Stanford gave up 356 yards, rushed for only 76 yards and committed two turnovers on special teams.

"The bottom line is, we didn't play well anywhere," Shaw told the San Jose Mercury News. "It was not up to our standards. The defense gave up too many yards on the ground, and the flip side is, we didn't run the ball well enough."

Arizona State became the first team this season to score more than 20 points against the Cardinal. ...More
