Inter Tie Down Young Starlets Rene Krhin & Vid Belec Until 2014 - Report
In an effort to stave off European interest, Inter have successfully secured new deals for Rene Krhin and Vid Belec which tie them to the club until 2014.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the club has come to an
agreement with the players' agent Marcel Kacinari, which will see both
Slovenians earn an annual salary of around €300,000 plus bonuses.
The 19-year-old's are highly thought of by the Nerazzurri coaching
staff, and Krhin has already made a handful of appearances for both the
Inter first team and the senior Slovenia national side.
Meanwhile, Belec is likely to be farmed out on loan in the near future,
as there will be few opportunities for the Slovenia Under-19 'keeper to
shine in the first team.
Manchester City had been looking to take both youngsters on permanent
deals, while Liverpool and Chelsea had also been credited with an
interest by the British press.
